Three-Year Anniversary!!!

Next month will be three years since I started releasing music as Circumvent. It's been a really rewarding project. Thank you to everyone who has supported what I'm doing. I've met awesome people from all around the world and collaborated with lots of artists who are all more talented than myself. I appreciate you all. I have a new album out that I'm really stoked about. It's called Created to Serve and you can hear it over at the bandcamp page. Also, I finally got around to uploading the very first Circumvent album to Youtube. When I Left Home was my first attempt at creating noise music and although it's primitive, I'm still really proud of it. It was basically my attempt to sound like WhiteHouse or Atrax Morgue. You'd never know it, since I was trying so hard to make the record hyper-edgy and dark, but this is what unbridled enthusiasm actually sounds like. Haha. When I first started working with a no-input mixer setup, I was super inspired by the artistic possibilities and the mutability of the project. That enthusiasm just keeps snowballing and the sound of Circumvent keeps mutating. I'm so grateful to everyone who has helped in giving me this vehicle to express myself. :-) _Chris
